The Journey

Back in January 2009, the management team of California Diesel & Power wanted to proactively pursue maintaining company morale. We believed that this would best be accomplished by feeding the spirit of our employees. We embarked on “The Journey”. This consisted of weekly meetings where we shared stories from different sources that were enlightening, refreshing and sometimes inward looking. The meetings end with a circle-up for prayer. All employees are invited and welcome. Many of the employees join by phone. There is no set in stone structure but just a desire to leave the “Journey” meetings in a better place than when we came. “The Journey” has been a huge success and is always encouraging us to be a “better you”. A “better you” at work and at home. We recognize that we never arrive at any destination without first embarking on a journey.

New in April 2010 is the word of the week. We would like to share with our web friends, the essence of the weekly Journey meeting as well as the word of the week.

Definition of Journey: any course or passage from one stage or experience to another.
