This recognition underscores the company’s commitment to fostering a supportive and healthy work environment for its talented team.
The Bay Area Top Workplace award is based on employee feedback results captured by the Energage Workplace Survey. “We are honored to receive this award once again,” said Jill Collaro, President of CD & Power. “As we approach 40 years since my dad opened shop with just a couple of employees, keeping a family feel to the business has been our top priority. Even though we now have more than 60 on our team, we care about the wellbeing of each person. The better we take care of them, the more they are energized to take care of our customers.”
Each December the company selects a theme for the coming year and develops events, activities, and even competitions around it. For 2023 the theme has been “well” – emphasizing the need to take care of one’s well being and to be mindful of how one has the power to affect the wellness of others, including the company’s customers and the surrounding community.
This year’s theme is consistent with the company’s actions every year. Annually, employees and management devote substantial time and money to worthy causes. Additionally, they hang inspirational banners from their building to honor veterans, inspire good deeds, and celebrate holidays.
